1 [14. Penalty for contravention. -- (1) Where any person contravenes any of the provisions of sub-section (1), sub-section (2), sub-section (2A) or sub-section (2C) of section 4, he shall be liable to penalty equal to the amount of annual premium for insurance policy and may extend to twice the amount of such premium.
