(1) The Committee may require such applicants to deposit such amount as security in such form as may be prescribed. (2) The security amount may be applied by the Committee to reimburse the Government, either fully or partially, for reasonable costs incurred by the Government in preventing, mitigating or remedying any adverse environmental impact caused by the permit holder or persons or vessels bound by conditions of the permit.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
