Section 32 — Notification of annulment of sale.

The Bengal Land Revenue Sales Act, 1859
The annulment by a Commissioner or by Government of a sale made under this Act shall be publicly notified by the Collector or other Officer as aforesaid, in the same manner as the becoming final and conclusive of sales is required to be notified by Section XXVIII of this Act; and the amount of deposit and balance of purchase money shall be forthwith returned to the purchaser with interest thereon at the highest rates of the current public Securities; which shall be paid by the Government, unless the proprietor shall have become liable for the same under the provisions of Section XXV or Section XXVI of this Act
