When at any settlement made before this Act comes into force malik-makbuzas have been declared entitled to a portion of the waste-lands comprised in any mahal the Chief Commissioner may, notwithstanding anything contained in the record of such settlement, prescribe the extent of such portion and the mode in which the same shall be assigned to them; and may determine the nature and extent of their interests therein and the conditions on which they may hold it.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
