(1) The Haj Committee Act, 1959 (51 of 1959) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, the Haj Committee constituted under the said Act shall, until the establishment of the Committee under this Act, continue to function as if this Act had not been passed and on such notification under section 5 on the establishment of the Committee, the former Committee shall stand dissolved. (3) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Haj Committee Act, 1959 (51 of 1959) shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
