Section 49 — Disputes between the Corporation and Governments.

The Damodar Valley Corporation Act, 1948
(1) Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, any dispute between the Corporation and any participating Government regarding any matter covered by this Act or touching or arising out of it shall be referred to an arbitrator who shall be appointed by the Chief Justice of India. (2) The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties.
