Section 33 — Power of the Central Government to issue directions.

The National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988
(1) Without prejudice to the other provisions of this Act, the Authority shall, in the discharge of its functions and duties under this Act, be bound by such directions on questions of policy as the Central Government may give to it in writing from time to time. (2) The decision of the Central Government whether a question is one of policy or not shall be final.
