Section 72 — Right to get receipt.

(1) Every tenant, lessee or licensee who makes payment on account of rent, sayar or premium shall be entitled to obtain forthwith from the landholder a written receipt signed by the landholder or his agent. (2) The landholder shall, from a book printed under section 74, give a separate receipt for each sum paid on account of rent, sayar or premium, and shall prepare and retain a counterfoil of each receipt given by him.
