(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any contract or instrument to the contrary, on and from the appointed day, the Kalavati Saran Hospital shall be managed by the Central Government as a Government institution. (2) In managing the Kalavati Saran Hospital as a Government institution, regard shall be had to the purposes for which that Hospital was set up in pursuance of the indenture, dated the 8th day of June, 1954, executed by Shri Ashok Saran, and the indenture, dated the 8th day of June, 1954, executed by Shri Raghbir Saran, in favour of the President of India.
