Section 3 — Incorporation of the Committee.

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971
(1) With effect from such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, there shall be established a Committee to be called the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee for the proper management and control of the Gurdwaras and Gurdwara property. (2) The Committee shall be a body corporate with the name aforesaid having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall by such name sue and be sued. (3) The Committee shall have its head office in Delhi.
