(1) The licensing authority may, after giving the holder of any licence under this Act a reasonable opportunity of being heard, cancel or suspend the licence on any one or more of the following grounds, namely:-- (a) that there has been a breach of any of the conditions subject to which the licence was granted; (b) that the holder of the licence has contravened any of the provisions of section 7. (2) Whenever a licence is cancelled or suspended the licensing authority shall record a brief statement of the reasons for such cancellation or suspension and furnish a copy thereof to the person whose licence has been cancelled or suspended.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
