Section 37 — Repeals and savings.

The Extradition Act, 1962
(1) The Indian Extradition Act, 1903 (15 of 1903), and any law corresponding thereto in force at the commencement of this Act in the territories which, immediately before the 1st day of November, 1956, were comprised in Part B States and the North East Frontier Agency and Tuensang District (Extradition) Regulation, 1961 (3 of 1961), are hereby repealed. (2) The Extradition Acts, 1870 to 1932 (33 and 34 Vict. c. 52; 36 and 37 Vict. c. 60; 6 Edw. 7, c. 15; 22 and 23 Geo. 5, c. 39, 44 and 45 Vict. c. 69) and the Fugitive Offenders Act, 1881, in so far as they apply to and operate as part of the law of India, are hereby repealed.
